50 Cent Will Not Be Appearing In Eastenders

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but bosses at Eastenders have quashed reports that 50 Cent will be given a cameo in the hit BBC soap.

Just as we were looking forward to Fiddy taking a trip to Albert Square, doing a spot of shopping on Walford Market or talking bling with Pat Butcher, the BBC have stated that the rapper will not be starring in the show.

Despite the Candy Shop rapper himself claiming that a one-off appearance had been organised with the soap opera, a spokesperson for the BBC has denied the reports, claiming it's not true.

A rep for the BBC stated: "We're flattered he's a fan, but there have been no talks about him appearing in the show,"

Fiddy had previously joked that his 'biggest showbiz dream' would been for Peggy Mitchell, played by Barbara Windsor to have thrown him out of the Square's boozer, The Vic but now it seems that Mr.Cent won't be walking the East End cobbles after all.

Fat Joe Lashes Out At 50 Cent

New York rapper Fat Joe has opened up about the issues he has with 50 Cent and claims that the G-Unit leader is a has-been and a liar.

Joe believes that Fiddy has gone downhill since his epic debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin' - which went on to sell 11 million copies.

He told MTV News US: "When he did that first interview dissing Fat Joe with you, with the candlelight’s and all that, he lied. When he said no one knows Fat Joe in Africa, I saw that interview from Africa and I had 70,000 people out there. There isn't a country I ain't touch in Africa.

"You talk about album sales; he went from selling 10 million albums to not even going gold this last album. So, he lost nine-and-a-half-million fans in four years. I don't really trip off him.

He also went to add that 50 Cent always finds the need to trouble other rappers and there isn’t hardly anyone out there that he hasn’t had ‘beef’ with:

“The latest one he's going at: P Diddy. He has beef with Jadakiss, he has beef with Cam'ron. Anybody we consider dope in New York, he has went at them. There ain't nobody he ain't touch. Fat Joe ain't out here trying to battle-rap everybody in the world."

Scots singer gets expert advice from rap superstar 50 Cent

AN unknown Scots singer is being schooled in the gangsta lifestyle by one of the world's top experts - 50 Cent.
Cambuslang's David John was hand-picked by Fiddy to support the rap megastar on his recent UK tour dates.
And he received an incredible insight into the behind-the-scenes glamour and high-rolling life he may one day enjoy if he hits the big time thanks to the help of his new pal - when Fiddy invited him to join him In Da Club post-gig.
David said: "Fiddy and I hung out in the clubs for a while after the shows and he must have had about 20 women round him.
"He was so down to earth but every night he'd walk in with G-Unit's Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo with 20 different chicks.
"That guy is gangsta. I was the only UK support act and was in with them every day of the UK tour."
David, 26, admits he was blown away by the reality of the rap star lifestyle, and Fiddy was keen to coach him in how best to make the most of the life he will soon be leading himself - by taking it easy.
The legend's tips paid off too - David soon had girls tossing their undies at him.
He said: "I thought I pretty much knew everything before I went on tour with Fifty, but it definitely opened my eyes to see what it's like to be at the top of your game.
"He told me 'What you've got to do is chill and relax more and do your thing. You've got lovers and haters, but do your thing no matter what anyone says. You're creating music from scratch and that's what it's all about. Just go out and perform'.
"I did that and got a few teddy bears and pairs of underwear when I was walking into the lobby of our hotel in Ireland."
David was asked to join Fiddy on his UK tour after being discovered by a New York music scout when he was strumming along with a pal on holiday in Lanzarote.
Fiddy and his pals at Violator Records were impressed by his soulful, Motown-inspired sound and swooped to book him.
David, who is signed to Pure Chuffed Records, working in conjunction with Violator, now releases his debut single Mrs Vegas for download via iTunes on April 20 and his debut album, The New King of Scotland, later in the year.
Having come a long way since singing with pop group Right Now, David is planning to visit Fiddy - and they are discussing a collaboration.
He said: "I might hook up with Fiddy in the US when he gets back.
"I'm sending him a few track ideas and I'll take it from there.
"I'll focus on the first and second single and hopefully a collaboration will come in the near future."

50 Cent Says “Hey” to Sold-Out UK Club, Gets Paid $75,000

We’re beginning to understand why tough-guy gangsta rapper 50 Cent has said he'd like to explore club music on his next album. After all, late-night party spots have been treating the rapper well these days. Take, for example, a British nightclub who reportedly paid the rapper $75,000 for saying one word to a sold-out crowd.

WENN points to a story in Britain's Daily Mirror, who report that Fiddy was given free champagne and $75,000 to hang out at a new club in Liverpool, England. With the rapper in tow, the club filled to capacity as fans waited for him to say something. Allegedly, he stepped up to the crowd, simply said “hey,” and retreated back into his VIP area.


 A source to the British paper said, “It was the most blinging night ever. People thought 50 Cent might perform a track or two, given his massive fee, but he just greeted the crowd with 'Hey' and got back to his two personally requested ladies, who were lavishing booze on him.”

To be fair, this tabloid has been known for some inaccurate reporting in the past, but we wouldn't put it past the rapper to collect a sum like that for just for uttering a single word.

Since the early 1980s, rappers have established an underlying parallel with America's most notorious gangsters. Some of the biggest rap artists' lyrics are littered with vivid street storytelling guaranteed to be influenced by real life tales from the litany of original gangsters.
One name that rings bells in the New City region is none other than Lorenzo "Fat Cat" Nichols. Nichols made a name for himself in the Southside section of Jamaica, Queens in the '80s during the height of the crack era, along with henchman Pappy Mason and fellow Queens kingpin Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff. Nichols ruled the 150th street strip like Avon Barksdale in an episode of "The Wire." However, Fat Cat is notoriously known to the NYPD as the man responsible for putting a contract on decorated police officer Edward Byrnes, who was protecting a witness on the verge of testifying against the Nichols empire. The murder of officer Byrnes would eventually be the downfall of the Fat Cat era.
In the urban community, serving time in a correctional facility secured hood points. Rappers have recognized and supported that, making Fat Cat into a legend in New York City. Oddly enough, the street hustlers looked at rappers as "soft." Still, lyricists like Nas, Mobb Deep, LL Cool J and even 50 Cent have celebrated Nichols throughout their raps during their career. It has been heavily rumored that it was Fat Cat — and not McGriff — who gave a young Curtis Jackson his start as a hustler on the streets of Queens.
Recently, there have been reports that Fat Cat is up for parole in April, though it's expected to be one of many parole denials for Fat Cat if current NYPD Commissioner Raymond Kelly has anything to say about it). But no matter the outcome, Kelly cannot remove hip-hop's obsession with one of Queens' most notorious urban legends, and there will no doubt be more songs to come.

50 Cent pays tribute to 'Terminator' films on new album cover

50 Cent has revealed the 'Terminator' film-inspired cover of his forthcoming new album, 'Before I Self-Destruct' (pictured).The album featuring the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, is set for release on November 16.

It will feature long-time collaborators Dr. Dre and Eminem. Meanwhile, the rapper recently released the trailer for his forthcoming directoral debut, also called 'Before I Self-Destruct'. Watch it below. He recently told Rolling Stone that the film was not autobiographical, but was "inspired by the actual music

After working on 50 Cent film Dead Man Running, Rio Ferdinand fancies a career in film

Move over Vinnie Jones. Rio Ferdinand is gearing up for more movies after being executive producer of the 50 Cent film Dead Man Running.
He said: "I'm loving doing films. I met Fiddy a few times before so this one just happened naturally."
But the Man U star is even more revved up about his clash with Liverpool tomorrow. He said: "I'm feeling confident, it's going to be good. My back is much better."

50 Cent reveals Danny Dyer inspiration

50 Cent has revealed how the involvement of British actor Danny Dyer helped convince him to sign up to be in new film 'Dead Man Running'.

The rapper plays a loan shark in the Alex De Rakoff-directed film, with his character threatening the man Dyer is portraying to come up with some cash in 24 hours.

"What made me secure about going into the project was I'd watched those other actors like Danny," he told BBC Newsbeat. "I watched 'Layer Cake', I watched UK films while I was travelling. I knew I would be in a secure space surrounded by this sort of cast."
