50 Calls Next Album His "Detox"


While on the set of Jeremih's new music video 50 Cent discussed his next album.Referring to recent leaks as "ideas," the G-Unit leader says the new project is his "Detox Album" and it "may take ten years."

50 says that he "recorded 20 songs to a whole different album concept" before he put those to the side and did something different. Planning to record and write until it feels perfect, 50 says that "its important to put out the right sound for that moment." 50 Cent finished up with a little self-confidence saying simply, "there is no one in Hip Hop that possesses the ability to do what I do.

50 Cent Sued For His Album Before I Self Destruct


50 cent for his last album "Before I Self Destruct" has been claimed by a New Jersey author who reveals that 50 captured his the idea for his multi-format package from a book called 'The Preachers Son - But the Streets Turned Me Into a Gangster.'

Shadrach Winstead has filed a lawsuit in New Jersey district court this week that claims 50 "infringed the copyright by publishing and selling an audio visual work (a movie released in DVD format), coupled with an audio recording ("recordings")." Both Winstead and 50 Cent released their projects in November of 2009, but Winstead's legal documents allege that the content and word choice is identical "in many cases." Winstead is suing for undisclosed damages and profits from the sales of 'Before I Self-Destruct.'

Beyond a set amount of damages, 50 Cent is being sued for any and all profits from the album slash movie. "The defendant infringed the copyright by publishing and selling an audio visual work (a movie released in DVD format), coupled with an audio recording (“recordings”)," said Winstead in his complaint.

50 Cent Decided To Help Needy People In HomeTown

This winter will going to be little warmer for 50 Cent has he had decided to visit his hometown and to help needy families over there.

According to report "he Queens bred emcee has teamed up with NYC council deputy majority leader, Leroy Comrie, to sponsor a coat drive.The drive, which is sponsored by Fif's G-Unity Foundation, is currently taking donations until November 26th.

In his past 50 Cent has done so many positive help to the needy communities as previously reported the G Unit head registered as a bone marrow donor in part to help Shannon Taverez, an 11-year-old Broadway actress suffering from leukemia.

Tony Yayo, who has also registered recently G-Unit visited with fans and registered them for this valuable cause.

Jackets for the G-Unity Foundation Coat Drive can be dropped off at the council member's office at 113-43 Farmers Blvd, St. Albans from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m, Monday through Friday.
