Rapper 50 Cent arriving to Birmingham

For The Uptown Film Festival,rapper 50 Cent is arriving to Birmingham,where he will promote his film “Things Fall Apart.”

He produced “Things Fall Apart” with business partner Randall Emmett. It will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, at the Palladium 12 Theatre.

The film highlights on the life of a promising football player who is tragically diagnosed with cancer. 50 Cent lost more than 50 pounds to portray the lead role.

The film's premiere is part of the festival's VIP package at the Palladium 12 Theatre at 250 North Old Woodward

50 Cent To Play New York Cop

In tough new drama FREELANCERS,50 Cent will be playing a rogue cop role.

The In Da Club star, real name Curtis Jackson, will play the son of a slain NYPD officer, who takes his dad's place in a vice crime task force.

Filming is scheduled to begin at the end of March (11) in Michigan, according to Variety.

And it sounds like 50 Cent is uber serious about his film career, as he told MTV News he hopes to win an Oscar someday. “Shoot for the stars if you would do that.”

50 Cent Is Back, New Movie Photos Leak

The Queens native was a guest last night (February 9) on the late night talk show Conan with host Conan O'Brien.

The dapper rapper was both charismatic and amusing, with the crowd warming up to his well-timed jokes and recanting of some of his antics on Twitter - including making over a $1000 shoveling snow in New York City with the help of some kids the rapper posted pictures of via his Twitter account.

"We made a $1000," shared 50 Cent. "We shoveled ten houses in our actual neighborhood 'cause we showed them the pictures. I was telling them 'look, you can take a picture of me but we're gonna charge you'. You know, a celebrity shoveling your front yard."

50 Cent Avoiding To Get Involved In Nicki Minaj, Lil Kim Feud

To get involved in the feud between Nicki Minaj and Lil' Kim has been refused by the 50 Cent.

Both of them feud out last year after Lil' Kim alleged that Minaj was ripping her off, and labelled her a “clone clown”.

According to rapper 50 cent the feud between the pair was “harmless”.

“It adds an interesting story and other interests to them, 'cause Kim is the original, I believe, and Nicki is the right now,” he said.

But he added that he had no plans to join in on the rivalry. "How do you get in the middle of a girl fight?” he said.

50 cent plans to release his new album 'Black Magic' this summer.
